Let’s Strive to be the Best Versions of Ourselves this 2022!
While
everyone was either eating, or watching fireworks after the first midnight of
the year, I was stuck in my room contemplating on what I have achieved, what I
have experienced, and what I have been through for the past year. A bit
dramatic for some, but in my opinion, I see it as a way to talk to myself, and to
know myself more. I see it as the first step to figure out what I would like to
achieve, and to experience for this new year.
2021 has been a tough year, indeed.
I have made numerous mistakes that I have truly regretted. Me and my family
have been through one of the worst challenged we have come across in our lives.
I struggled mentally and physically. However, despite the hardship I have
experienced for the past year, I am thankful and proud that I survived all of
it. It taught me valuable lessons that would be extremely beneficial for my
future, for instance, preventing myself from repeating the same mistakes, and
to be more careful. Furthermore, this past year made me love myself more. I
started caring for my health, both mentally and physically. I also started
doing the hobbies I neglected before. More importantly, I survived. And that
alone, as little and simple as it seems, is enough to be proud of.
For this new year, I aspire to be
more observant and wise with my decisions. I also plan to start reading
international novels. I have a lot of things in mind that I would like to
achieve this 2022. I am really hoping that this year would be a good year for
me and my loved ones. However, I am truly aware that a perfect year is
non-existent, therefore, I would also work hard to be strong enough to survive
whatever challenge 2022 gives me. I am extremely looking forward for what this
year has to offer.

It's true that we've made several mistakes, but we learn from those mistakes and will come in handy in the future. 2021 has really taught us a lot like taking care of ourselves and cherishing every moment of our lives with loved ones. I wish you a great year!
